About Me

I am Anitha Potluru and the thing I love the most about myself is that I am a mother of 2 lovely growing kids and I spend most of my time with them playing sports, or relaxing with “Tippy” our family dog, and volunteer at Women’s Distress center in Halton. Before my children came into the picture I started my journey in India where I graduated in horticultural science and I met the love of my life and moved to Australia for his work and where I did my Masters . We stayed in Australia just long enough to enjoy the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney before making the big move to Canada to be closer to our family.

My Experience

I started my career in Canada as an entrepreneur and owned and managed restaurants, so I know what it’s like to own & manage your own business. I moved on to a Realtor role to spend more quality time with kids and manage my own investments. I joined the insurance industry when one of our close family friends passed away unexpectedly. They were the sole earner in the family and had no protection in place. When I saw the struggles they went through and when I realized just how easily that could’ve been my family, I knew I wanted to educate people on the importance of having a proper solution in place. As an insurance specialist with RBC Insurance I embrace my passion for educating people and use my own experiences to work with people to ensure they have a customized solution that will be there for them and their family when they need it the most. And that’s what I would like to do for you.
