About Me

Hi, I am Christain Garces and I am an insurance for life, health and wealth at RBC insurance in Toronto. I was Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Quito, Ecuador and since 2010 Canada is the place I call home. Growing up in different places and experiencing different cultures enabled me to adapt to environments quickly and create long-lasting relationships both personally and professionally, one of the things I enjoy most is getting to know their stories, I believe everyone has a story to tell and we can all learn from each other. Connecting with people helps me understand their challenges and provide practical solutions. Guided by a strong set of values, I hold myself to a high standard by acting responsibly, diligently, with integrity and a client first mentality. My family is the core of everything I do, so I understand how important it is to plan for the unexpected. That’s why helping others take care of what they value most is my purpose and my top priority.

My Experience

I come from a creative background specifically Graphic Design, where I designed and manufactured signage for businesses across the GTA. This was a rewarding career and found lots of success, also acquired experience that helped me build a strong set of skills to connect with people, understand their challenges and deliver practical solutions. The loss of someone close to me, led me to think of a way that would allow me to tangibly help people that’s when I found that insurance is the best channel to connect my skills with my purpose (help others). Now working as a Life, Health, Wealth advisor with RBC Insurance, I can ensure that my family, friends and my community have the information and protection they need for those unexpected events.
