About Me

My name is Diane Alexander. I have lived in Alberta most of my life, one might say I am a true prairie girl. I grew up in a small town in northern Alberta, but I have lived in Calgary for more than 25 years. I call Calgary my home. My partner and I love the outdoors and try to stay active by golfing, gardening, fishing, and travelling during the colder months. We have four grown children and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.

My Experience

I started my career as an accountant. I earned my CPA after attending college and worked in the oil and gas industry until 2017. A change in circumstances then led me to make a career change. Through tragic experiences in my own life, I felt the emotional and financial pain of losing a loved one. When I became aware people could protect themselves through financial solutions, I was inspired to help. I knew I enjoyed working with individuals, families, and businesses; creating a plan that would soften the financial blow of an illness, injury, or death of a family member, became my passion. This is when I became licensed as an insurance advisor. I was an independent insurance advisor for several years before starting with RBC Insurance and am truly excited to be a part of the RBC family. What drew me to RBC Insurance was that they matched my personal values by putting the client first. I am devoted to educating clients and providing professional advice that meets the client's needs. RBC is faithful in supporting me to provide my clients with the best possible advice and guidance throughout their journey as our client. For that I am grateful.
