About Me

My name is Ekta Balani and I am a Senior Insurance Specialist at RBC Insurance, with over 6 years of experience in the life and health insurance eco-system. I am a foreign trained Accountant and also hold a Chartered Life Underwriter Certification. I spent about a decade as an Accounting Assistant upon moving to Canada in 2005 while raising my daughter at the same time. And then I decided to make a move into Insurance as I understand the importance of helping the clients protect their Lifestyle and Income and I had developed the expertise while working with my clients books of accounts. Throughout my time at RBC, I have had the privilege of supporting thousands of clients with their unique insurance challenges. My personal vision is to ensure I work with my clients to protect their income, act proactively to plan for their estate and their retirement needs by understanding my client’s unique needs and challenges at a personal level, so that I can provide the best insurance recommendation and secure the assets they value most.

My Experience

RBC Insurance because they were known for always putting clients first, which I really appreciate. Since 2016 I have help over 275 families with estate planning and income replacement advice. My biggest award is when I receive a client referral as that is an indication that I have done a great job.
