About Me

My name is Esther Law, one of the advisors in Bloor/Yonge Branch. I came to Canada on a student Visa and graduated from University of Saskatchewan with an Economics Degree. My first full time job was working as an Insurance Advisor with RBC Insurance. During the first few months in the position, I was not sure about the position. Until one day, my manager brought me with him to deliver a claim check to a young family who had lost their father due to an illness. I saw the mother’s reaction and because of the insurance, the children can still live in the same home where they grew up, and their mother can continue her day-to-day life. That claim experience made me realize how important my job is. Fast forward 33 years, I am blessed with 2 sons, both were graduated from University of Toronto (Mississauga) majoring in Psychology, Biology & Sociology. I have been sharing with them the importance of financial & insurance planning because we do not know when unexpected events will happen.
