About Me

I'm Johnathan Hunter, or John, residing in Regina with my wonderful fiancé, two awesome kids, and a lovable dog. Our adventures include hiking, summer beach days, family bike rides, and staying active year-round. I was deeply immersed in martial arts and coached it for years. After Highschool I jumped into a welding career, specializing in train repairs. Having spent almost two decades in the trades, I saw firsthand how a lack of financial and retirement planning hit hard for colleagues I respected. That experience lit a fire in me to make sure people are prepared for whatever life throws at them. My aim is not only to assist blue-collar workers and families similar to mine but also to extend support to individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.

My Experience

Driven by a desire for a more impactful career, I left the trades to become a licensed insurance professional in 2020. In 2023, I joined the RBC team as a Life, Health, & Wealth Advisor. My passion lies in helping families plan for life's uncertainties and guiding individuals in wealth planning. Now, in the world of insurance and retirement planning, I'm all about ensuring you're set up for success. I'm not just about numbers; I'm about protecting incomes, families, and futures. Learning and growing every day, I'm on a mission to cook up creative solutions that make a real impact.
