About Me

Kayode Elusakin is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in risk management, sales, marketing and HR services. With a distinguished career spanning the FMCG and non-financial banking services sector in Nigeria, he has established himself as a strategic brand strategist, people manager and business growth expert. His professional journey began with human resources training in Unilever Nigeria Plc before joining AXA Mansard (formerly Mansard insurance) in 2013 as a pioneer staff in the health subsidiary. He played a critical role with the leadership team in building various health insurance products that was critical for AXA Health to later gain market leadership across the sub-saharan African market. He led the team of 31 business professionals in the corporate sales group of AXA Health in 2021 and the team delivered a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of $35m. Kayode has a passion for developmental economics and he holds a Masters degree in Economics from University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a social commentator with passion for economic developments and he has joined various television programs on Nigerian national TV to discuss economic policies and also a very constant voice on economic policies on X (formerly twitter). Beyond his corporate achievements he is a husband and a father.
