About Me

Hi my name is Nichole Zhu, I am a home and auto insurance advisor at RBC Insurance. To start, let me tell you a little bit about myself: I have a cat, her name is Player, I got her when she was less than 3 weeks old and she now just turned 16. I have 2 sons, both of them are very passionate collectors of vintage fountain pens and mechanical watches. It’s an expensive hobby, however my husband and I love to support them as long as they are doing good as schooland we love to see the heritage being well preserved.

My Experience

I owned two small fashion stores years ago and when I shopped around for my own insurance needs, I felt in love with this field. I was hired as assistant manager at a well-known Chinese leading insurance brokerage who was the first insurance brokerage in the Chinese community. I joined RBC Insurance in 2012 and have 10 years of industry experience, specializing in home and auto insurance. I have worked closely with more than 3000 families in and around the GTA and Ontario and take great care to provide clients affordable, effective recommendations, that meet their specific needs. From being a fashion store owner to an insurance advisor, these two occupations look quite different, however, the fundamentals are the same: they both are people business. I like to work with people, learn from them, and help them with my expertise.
