About Me

I came to Canada when I was 14 years old, and I grew up in Mississauga. We were contacted by a Sri Lankan Sinhala RBC Insurance Advisor who introduced my family and I to RBC life, disability and critical illness Insurance. All six of our family members obtained insurance from RBC Insurance. When I moved to Ottawa in 2013, my family and I were introduced to an RBC insurance advisor who helped us invest with RBC Wealth Insurance. The advice provided had such a significant impact that it inspired me to get my life insurance license and pay it forward. In my spare time I like to do outdoor sports, volunteer and watch movies. I love to travel to sunny destinations and enjoy different kinds of food. Family is extremely important for me; I grew up in a big family and I am the eldest of 4 children. Making sure that my clients and their families are well protected is extremely important to me and that is what I am enjoying the most.

My Experience

I have LLQP License (Life License Qualification Program). I have 12 years of experience working in the property management and low-income housing sector where I provided administrative and regulatory services to hundreds of people from various backgrounds. I also have 5 years of experience in the business process outsourcing sector where I provided customer service. Since year 2000 I have been a community volunteer representative in the Sri Lankan community. I have 4+ years of experience in providing clients with insurance protection. I apply all the valuable knowledge that I have obtained in answering all your insurance question(s), concern(s), or need(s) you may have. I am able to provide you with sound advice while taking the complexity out of insurance and making it easy for you to understand.
