About Me

My name is Sheldon and I have lived in the lower mainland my whole life. Born and raised in Port Coquitlam I learned how to play soccer, lacrosse and most passionately am a lifelong member of the Poco Pirates Minor Hockey Association. After high school, I found myself drawn to the lakes and lifestyle of interior BC at UBC Okanagan, where I pursued a degree in computer science. Upon graduating, and an internship with a computer programing company I felt a pull towards the world of finance. Now I reside in the beautiful city of Burnaby and when I am not in the office you may find me playing hockey, hiking or indulging in one the many great restaurants around town.

My Experience

I have worked in the financial industry since 2018 and have helped hundreds of families and businesses with their planning journey. My first step into this realm was as banker with one of Canadas big 6. It was a role that demanded accuracy and an understanding of the complex day to day banking world. As I was eager to broaden my horizons, I transitioned to wealth management firm as a Financial Consultant. It required building a business in wealth management and life planning strategies, very rewarding work that required empathy and strategic thinking. My career path then led me to the role of an Investment Specialist. I honed skills in asset protection strategies and financial planning, guiding my clients through the intricacies of building and preserving wealth. Over the last 7 years My path has allowed me to see a wide range of client situations and how providing a solution that focuses on protecting what my clients have worked so hard to build can be instrumental in their success.
