About Me

My name is Shirley Lawrence and I am a Senior Insurance Specialist who holds my Registered Retirement Consultant designation. I am originally from South Africa and have been in Canada for 11 years. I have 3 sons and 4 grandsons. I have worked in the Insurance industry for 41 years in various capacities and have been an Insurance Advisor for the last 19 of those years. I have been with RBC Insurance for 9 years. I specialize in sitting down with clients and small business owners to educate them on how to protect the things that matter most to them. I am very passionate about what I do, because I know first hand the devastation that comes as a result of inadequate or no financial planning. I lost my first husband in an accident when I had a 3 month and 3 year old son and we had no life in place. I have henceforth dedicated my life to ensuring that nobody goes through the same experience.
