About Me

My name is Sung Lim, prior to joining RBC Insurance in 2018, I was an owner of a coffee shop and restaurant for 15 years. I was born in Cambodia and immigrated to Canada in 1987. I married the love of my life which I met in middle school and we have 2 beautiful children together, a daughter and son. One of my hobbies is renovating homes, I always loved to create a plan from scratch. I love to design a space for a purpose and also make it functionally beautiful. When it comes to my clients’, my desire to create a plan for their specific needs are very similar to renovating a home. You would need to know your budget, what you want vs what you need and compromise if it is beyond your budget. That is why it is important to understand your needs versus what you want because at times, you need to have that tough conversation, honesty and integrity will provide a solution that will help clients reach their goals.

Having been operating businesses for 15 years, I utilize my knowledge and experience by recognizing my client’s financial needs and sharing honest advice that will contribute to their goals. Making sure by aligning their objective, I can help my clients’ achieve their short, mid and long term goals; by offsetting their personal financial risk and protecting what matters to them most. A great plan is a plan with a purpose and plan with no purpose is no plan at all.
