Hello, I'm Thuy, and my path to becoming an insurance advisor has been shaped by a transformative journey. Like many, I faced lots of challenges when I first arrived in Canada as an international student from Vietnam in 2017. One of the most significant hurdles was the language barrier. In those initial months, I found myself navigating a foreign culture, struggling to communicate effectively, and facing the inevitable pangs of homesickness. But these challenges made me work harder for my new life. I registered for language courses, sought help from supportive mentors, and gradually adapted to my new environment. As I gained confidence and familiarity with my surroundings, I also embarked on a mission to secure my future. I realized the importance of financial planning and insurance, especially in a foreign country where the unexpected can be daunting. My personal journey of adaptation and resilience, combined with my experience in the financial services industry, has fueled my passion to help others facing similar transitions.
