About Me

I was born in Pakistan and moved to Ontario in 2012, lived there for one year, moved to Calgary, and now reside in Langley with my wife and three daughters. I completed my MBA in 2008 at Commonwealth of Learning in Vancouver, alongside my law degree (LLB) in 1987 with a focus in civil litigation. I have a passion for travelling and have visited almost every country in Europe and most of Western Canada, including the far North of BC. When I am not travelling, you may find me watching a great movie, usually recommended by my daughters.

My Experience

Alongside my experience as an attorney, I also have tenure working in the oil & gas industry with a focus on litigation and employee development. I then turned my sights to the financial industry in 2015, with a interest in insurance, as well as instructing organizational behaviour, relationship selling, and financial planning at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I completed my LLQP insurance license in 2015 and have worked with a number of well-established insurance companies in Canada. I recently joined RBCI based on its reputation in the Canadian insurance industry for being client focused, positive claim experiences, and variety of products offered.
